The AUGUSTINIAN MISSIONARY SISTER lives as one who follows Jesus in a community of faith and prayer. In the spirit of the Gospel she seeks God and with simplicity and a welcoming heart shares with her sisters a life in common and the tasks entrusted to each one.

We seek to be open to the unfolding of history, to the evolution of change and to creativity.  We cultivate solitude and mutual exchange within a community life which is the place where each one’s gifts are enriched and shared for the good of the others.

Our communities constituted for mission are attentive to the promptings of the Spirit. We are ready to respond with creative fidelity to the demands of that mission and prepared to venture into the challenges which our missionary intuition embraces.

We walk in solidarity with men and women of our time, who yearn to convert human events into salvation history. Inspired by faith in the living God, and in the spirit of Augustine, a hope-filled restlessness compels us to contemplate, interpret and transform the world.

We know that encounters of the Spirit are always a movement forward and a renewal. The gifts of the Spirit are not given to us for rest. Rather, we have received a vocation to stand in the breach, forge paths and cross frontiers in order to fulfill broadly and radically the command of Jesus: “Go into the whole world and proclaim the Good News to all creation”.
